Ambegaon Taluka vidya Vikas Mandal started B.D.Kale Mahavidyalaya Ghodegaon in 1989.It is near Bhimashankar andlocated 76 k.m.North to Pune.It is one of the reputed colleges in western part of Ambegaon tahsil,which is considered as tribal area.The college library was started in 1989 with a collection of 200 andhas flourished ever since with a massive collection of over 32274books. At Present, 51 reputed Journals and Magazines are being subscribed. The main aim of libraryis to avail the various reading material andlearning resources to the students andenhance their understanding and knowledge and imbibe values in them bycreating interest among them to read and update themselves.Students get inspirations and Life –Force for their future life throughreading.Library offers INFLIBNET N-LIST resources with e –books and e-Journals. Library provides books to needy students under Book Bank Scheme. Library is using Vriddhi Software for automaton. Library provides a special reading room facility for students. Library has awell-equippedseparate building to cater better services to the community. To promote the reading culture, library declares every year, one best reader award for student and faculty for reading maximum books and for utilizing maximum resources in the library.

Rules :

• 1. It is necessary to have an Identity Card with students for availing of library facility.
• 2. The charging and discharging of syllabus books will be done daily.You must fill demand slip for the books other than syllabus, one day in advance.
• 3. If you want reference books of different subjects, you must submit borrowers’ card in library. It is not permitted to take reference books at home for reading.
• 4. One student will be given two books for eight days at one time. One rupee will be charged for each day, if the book is kept beyond that date.
• 5. Journal and Periodical will be issued to student for reading in the library after submitting Identity Card.
• 6. Current Periodical will not be issued to home. They should be submitted to the librarian before the closing time.
• 7. The book taken from library must be handled with care. In case of damage of the book by evil means like cutting the pages and maps, writing on the books etc., the student will have to pay the total price of the book.
• 8. Question paper sets of the previous annual examination are available and provided only in the library.
• 9. One extra book will be given to Advanced Learners, Average Learners and students participating in Competitive Examination and Spoken English Course.
• 10. Smoking, sleeping and eating, having refreshment in the library is not allowed.
• 11. Usage of cell phone is restricted inside the library.
• 12. Every member/ visitor has to sign in the readers entry register in the entrance counter before entering into the library.
• 13. Reprography facility is available in the library for the students.
• 14. Girls and boys should sit separately in study room.
• 15. Duplicate Identity Card will be issued on extra charges of Rs.50/-
• 16. Students should keep silence in the library.
